Our flooring for horse husbandry is tested for its slip resistance under defined test conditions. However, the actual slip resistance in practical use depends on the relevant environmental and usage conditions. Especially moisture, dirt, mud, ice or snow, the slope, the condition of the ground and wear or damage can adversely affect performance characteristics. Individual factors such as hoof condition, shoe, health status and the animals' movement behavior also affect slip resistance. Surfaces must therefore be checked regularly according to the relevant usage conditions, maintained and kept in proper condition.
