Excellent slip resistance for large and small
At Mr. Sailer's horse farm, the stable walkway and the indoor washdown area have been covered with BELMONDO® Walkpro mats since 2019. Moreover, BELMONDO® Step mats ensure slip resistance on the steep ramp situated between the indoor ring and the stable.

Before Mr. Sailer constructed the stable in 2019, he had taken a look at some recently built facilities. They had installed rubber mats in the stable walkway and were delighted with the results. So it was clear to him from the start that he would do the same thing.

Excellent slip resistance – also in wet conditions and on steep walkways
Mr. Sailer is very happy with the mats, in particular with the slip resistance they offer. Young horses and foals that are regularly led through the stable walkway often walk without much control and are not as confident yet as a saddle horse. So, it is particularly important for him that the floor is slip resistant. Both young horses and foals walk on Walkpro confidently and do not slip on it. Even if the floor is a little wet after cleaning, the horses do not slip on it at all.
Walkpro mats are also installed in the indoor washdown area. The mats in the washing loosebox are often wet, but they still offer total sure-footedness according to Mr. Sailer.
Access from the stable to the indoor ring is via a steep ramp. BELMONDO® Step mats have been installed here to ensure foals and horses can walk up and down the ramp safely. Both large and small hooves feel secure on them.

Compatibility with vehicle traffic and cleaning
The mats can easily withstand everyday stable work. Martin Sailer can also drive on the mats without any problems, e.g. when moving round bales into the stable. In his opinion, they are also great to clean when the stable walkway gets dirty.
Looking back, Martin Sailer would do everything exactly the same again. He is certain that the mats will still be just as good even in 10 years time. As of today, there is absolutely no visible abrasion or wear.
